10 Hamptons Boutiques We Love

As we sit, cooped-up in our respective homes during quarantine, I am sure we all have the same thing on our mind-where will my first venture out take me?  Here at Édité, we are hoping for the Hamptons.  From good food to even better shopping, the Hamptons have everything to offer to the New Yorker on a weekend getaway from the city.  So, we have come up with a list of our top 10 favorite boutiques in the Hamptons to share with you. Read below.

AMAGANSETT

Tiina the Store: Sitting pretty in the village of Amagansett, New York, Tiina the Store is a boutique worth visiting.  Focused on rejecting “fast luxury,” Tiina Laakkonen stocks her store with contemporary clothing crafted with traditional artisanal skill.

WE ARE OPENING OUR DOORS TODAY! We are so happy to be back, Matriarks!! It was difficult to be closed for 3 months but we know it was crucial for us to stay safe, and to keep each other safe. During this period, seeing all the inequalities in the world, and how differently people were affected by this crisis only strengthened our mission. So now it's time to resume our work, but with fine tuned lenses. Interestingly enough, on this same day in 1963 the Equal Pay Act was enacted "to prohibit discrimination on account of sex in the payment of wages by employers engaged in commerce or in the production of goods for commerce.” We are not even close to achieving equal pay, and it's much worse for Black and Latina women. Let's keep sending money to the hands of women – money is power and we want women to have more of it. Come shop with us and support WOB businesses and women focused charities. Social distancing is still important, and masks are needed, but we will make things easy and convenient for you: At our store on Main Street: You'll be able to shop at our garden, on our porch and inside our store. Have you seen our facade installation? 🌸 Online: We can do curbside delivery, set up private appointments, and do styling sessions via Zoom and Facetime. Drop by to say hello and check us out, so many beautiful things are waiting for you! ❤️ xo, Patricia
